Supporting each other through faith and fellowship.
At Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, we believe in the power of women encouraging and supporting one another in faith. Our Women's Ministry was formed to provide a place where women of all ages can grow spiritually, build lasting friendships, and serve both the church and the community.
Titus 2:3-5 reminds us that older women are to teach and mentor younger women. Through Bible studies, fellowship events, and outreach projects, we seek to uplift one another using God's Word as our foundation. Whether you're a young mother, in midlife, or a senior, you’ll find a welcoming space to learn, grow, and serve together.
Opportunities for Connection & Growth
Women's Ministry Planning Committee
Every two months, our planning committee meets to discuss new and ongoing ministry projects. We coordinate outreach efforts, church service projects, and quarterly events designed to encourage fellowship and spiritual growth.
Quarterly Women’s Events
We host a variety of events throughout the year, giving women the opportunity to connect and invite friends from outside the church. Past events have included:
Bible studies that strengthen our faith
Craft nights for creative fellowship
Movie nights featuring faith-filled films
Food and fellowship gatherings to simply enjoy time together
Women’s Bible Study
We offer Women’s Bible Study multiple times throughout the year, using the Precept Ministries curriculum. This inductive study method teaches participants how to deeply engage with Scripture and apply God’s Word to their lives.
Study Format:
Class Discussion: Review the week’s homework in a group setting
Video Teaching: Dive deeper into the passage with guided teaching
Two Study Levels Available:
Precept Upon Precept (PUP): 5 hours of homework per week
In & Out (I&O): 2.5 hours of homework per week
Typically, we offer both a morning and evening class to accommodate different schedules.
